Cameron Mcdonald

In the rich Bay Area mosaic, Cameron McDonald's story unfolds, a testament to the magnetic allure of San Francisco's vibrant landscape. From the roots of Palo Alto to a degree from the University of San Francisco, McDonald's journey into the craft beer realm began in home brewing, morphing into a hands-on brewing education on a Southern California bottling line. Gordon Biersch in San Jose marked a pivotal chapter, yet it was the beckoning call of Fort Point's nascent presence in the Presidio that set McDonald's brewing passion ablaze. As a Lead Brewer, accolades and industry recognition followed, including a Cicerone Certification and active involvement with the Master Brewers Association. Post-Fort Point, McDonald's expertise found new homes across the city's esteemed breweries, alongside an academic pursuit in business geared towards production management—a stepping stone to realizing a long-held dream: owning a brewery rooted in San Francisco's beating heart. Beyond career arcs, personal milestones have anchored McDonald to the city, from meeting their life partner and raising a family in Potrero Hill to the unwavering commitment to a city defined by its people, values, and fearless pursuit of doing things differently—San Francisco, a city that McDonald proudly calls home.
